Josephine Bonetti, 70,  departed suddenly on July 9, 2021. Her love of family was unrelenting. Known as Pompin to her loved ones, the beloved "Pompin" dedicated herself to family; caring for her mother, nieces, and nephews. A retired pharmacy technician and former New York City Board of Education secretary, she was a life long New Yorker. As a life long New Yorker, she was a true city girl.  She enjoyed New York high fashion, dinning, and shopping.

Josephine, beloved daughter of Virgilio and Nereida Bonetti, is survived by her loving sister, brother-in-law, cousins, nieces, nephews, grand nieces, and grand nephews, as well as extended family in Florida.

Visiting Thursday 6 – 9 PM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton. Funeral Service Friday 10 AM at the funeral home. Interment, Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington.
