Joseph Zliceski's Obituary
Joseph Zliceski, 94, of Clifton, passed away on June 30, 2017. Born in Mocanaqua, PA, he was a resident of Clifton for over 65 years.
A parishioner of St. John Kanty RC Church, Clifton, Joe was a member of the SJK Holy Name Society, and was a Mechanic for Shulton, Inc, in Clifton for 34 years, retiring in 1986. A US Navy Veteran during WW II, stationed on the USS Lexington, Joe was a member of the Athenia Veterans Post, Clifton.
Beloved husband of the late Pauline (Kokora), who passed away in 2007. Devoted father of Joseph and his wife Lynda of Woodland Park. Loving grandfather of Kristen Martin and her husband Randy, and Amanda Zliceski and her fiancee David Treier. Dear brother of Jennie Harenza of Nanticoke, PA, Helen Yurchinkonis of Clifton, and the late John Zliceski, Amelia Perkoski and Lottie Hizny.
Funeral Thursday 9 AM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton, and 10 AM at St. John Kanty RC Church, Clifton. Interment, East Ridgelawn Cemetery, Clifton. Visiting Wednesday 4-8 PM at the funeral home.
