Joseph Salvatore Tarda, 43, of Bloomfield, passed away on Saturday, April 5, 2014. Born in Passaic, Joseph was raised in Clifton where he lived until moving to Bloomfield in 2000. Joseph was employed by Commerzbank AG, in New York City, and had also worked as a Fraud Analyst with Hudson United Bank in Mahwah for several years. Joseph is survived by his loving and devoted mother Theresa (Comperatore) Tarda of Little Falls, his loving sister Maria Herschbein and her husband Jesse of Wayne, and his precious niece Rachel Elizabeth Herschbein. He is also survived by his dedicated and loving uncle and aunt Vincent C. and Angela Comperatore of Totowa, and by his loving cousins Maria, Jamie and Ava Vasquez, and Cassandra and Marisa Comperatore. He is predeceased by his father Salvatore who passed away in 1981, and his grandparents Domenick and Maria Comperatore. Funeral Wednesday 8:30 AM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton, and 10 AM at Our Lady of the Valley RC Church, Wayne. Interment, St. Nicholas Cemetery, Lodi. Visiting Tuesday 4-9 PM at the funeral home.
