Joseph Pych, 97, of Clifton, passed away on June 13, 2014. Born in Passaic, he lived in Wallington before moving to Clifton in 2006. A parishioner of Holy Rosary RC Church, Passaic, Joseph was an Army Veteran of WW II and was a member of Rosol-Dul Memorial Post # 359, Passaic. Joseph was a Truck Driver for Federal Wine & Liquor of Jersey City for over 20 years, retiring in 1978, and was a member of Teamster's Union Local # 641. Beloved husband for 60 years of the late Genevieve "Jean" (Pujdak) who passed away in 2004. Devoted father of Joseph R. Pych and his wife Barbara of Clifton. Loving grandfather of Susan Calton and her husband Jeff of Wayne, and "Jackie" Docs and her husband Chris of Clifton. Cherished great grandfather of Genna and Joseph. Dear brother of Walter of Jackson, and the late Patricia Guseff, Stanley, Theodore and Stella Pych. Funeral Tuesday 10 AM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton. Interment, St. Michael's Cemetery, South Hackensack. Visiting Monday 4-8 PM at the funeral home.
