Joseph P. Pojedinec Sr., 78, of Clifton passed away on November 3, 2011. Born in Clifton, he was a lifelong resident. A parishioner of Ss. Cyril & Methodius RC Church, Clifton, Joe was a Carpenter in the Maintenance Depart. for the Nutley Board of Education for 31 years, retiring in 1998. A Navy Veteran of the Korean War, Joe was a member of the Athenia Veterans Post, Clifton. Beloved husband of the late Geraldine B. (McGonigle) who passed away in 1991. Devoted father of Linda Stolarski and her husband Fred of Clifton, Geraldine Burghoffer and her husband Andrew, Sr. of Highland Lakes, Stephen J., Sr. of Stroudsburg, Pa, and Joseph P., Jr. and his wife Theresa of Linden. Loving grandfather of 7 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Dear brother of the late Sophie. Funeral Tuesday 9 AM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton, and 10 AM at Ss.
