Joseph A. Mathias, Jr., 62, of Clifton, passed away on July 28, 2013. Born in Passaic he was a lifelong resident of Clifton. A parishioner of St. Philip the Apostle RC Church, Clifton, Joe was a self employed Consultant for many years, retiring in 2011. Beloved son of the late Joseph A., Sr, and Mary Ann E. (Grenda) Mathias. Devoted brother of Robert and his wife Michele of Park Ridge. Loving uncle of Marisa, Robert and Elizabeth Ann. Cherished nephew and Godson of Anna Marie Grenda of Clifton. Funeral Thursday 8:45 AM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton, and 10 AM at St. Philip the Apostle RC Church, Clifton. Entombment, Calvary Cemetery, Paterson. Visiting Wednesday 6-8 PM at the funeral home.
