Joseph D. Martinelli, 86 of Clifton, passed away on October 9, 2012. Born in Newark, he lived there before moving to Clifton many years ago. A Navy Veteran of WW II, Joseph was a Hairdresser for Levy Brothers in Clifton for many years and later a Leadman for Deluxe Check Printers in West Caldwell for 20 years, retiring in 1988, and was a member of the Ocean Beach Unit III Yacht Club. A parishioner of St. Lucy's RC Church, Newark, Joseph was a devotee to the National Shrine of St. Gerard. Beloved husband for 57 years of the late Minnie (Galetta), who passed away in 2010. Devoted father of Daniel Martinelli and his wife Cathy of Clifton, and Kim Martinelli-Coradeschi and her husband Kevin of Clifton. Loving grandfather of Samantha and Eric. Dear brother of Millie Civitano of Union.
