Joseph Grenci, Sr., 89, of Clifton, passed away on May 24, 2016. Born in Clifton, he was a lifelong resident.
A US Navy Veteran during WW II, Joe was the owner of L & S Tool on Bloomfield Ave. in Clifton for many years, retiring in 1995, and was a member of the Athenia Veterans Post, Clifton.
Beloved husband for 65 years of Ruth (Piatt). Devoted father of Charles "Chuck" and his wife Deborah of Mt. Pleasant, SC, Thomas and his wife Alexandra of Neshanic Station, Susan Davidson and her husband Russ of Paramus, and Joseph, Jr., and his wife Deborah of Florence, KY. Loving grandfather of Joanna Grenci and her husband TJ, Katherine Jones and her husband Sean, Francine and Victoria Grenci, Michelle and Matthew Davidson, and Katherine, Raechel and Adam Eliasen. Cherished great-grandfather of Willow Grenci.
Burial of ashes with Military Honors will be Monday, June 6, 2016, 11 AM at St. Nicholas Cemetery, 2 Terrace Ave., Lodi.
In lieu of flowers, donations made to the Athenia Veteran's Post, 147 Huron Ave., Clifton, NJ 07013, in memory of Joe, would be greatly appreciated.
