Joseph DeSomma, 45, of Clifton, passed away on September 30, 2015. Born in Jersey City, he lived in Lyndhurst and Bricktown before moving to Clifton several years ago. Joseph held a Culinary Arts degree from the prestigious Culinary Institute of America, in Hyde Park NY, and was a Chef at the Rock Bar & Grill on Main Ave., in Clifton, for the past 14 years. Joe was an avid sports fan but especially loved the NY Yankees, NY Giants and the NY Rangers. Beloved son of Mary (Santoro) and her husband Michael Pravetz of Elmwood Park, and the late Joseph DeSomma. Visiting Monday 6-9 PM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton, Prayer Service at 8 PM. Cremation will be private.
