Joseph T. Coco, 86, of Clifton, passed away on December 16, 2015. Born in Passaic, he was a lifelong resident of Clifton.
Joseph was the founder and owner of the Clifton Speed Center on Main Ave., Clifton for 22 years, retiring in 1998. A parishioner of St. Paul's RC Church, Clifton, Joseph was a Navy Veteran during the Korean War and was a member of the American Legion.
Beloved husband for 59 years of the late Frances M. (Dino), who passed away in 2014. Devoted father of John Coco and his wife Donna of Highland Lakes, and Debbie Lekston and her husband Richard of Clifton. Loving grandfather of Melissa Coco and her fiance Matthew Kida, Christine Coco, Michael and Richard Lekston.
Funeral Saturday 7:45 AM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton, and 9 AM at St. Paul's RC Church, Clifton. Entombment, Calvary Cemetery, Paterson. Visiting Friday 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the funeral home.
