Joseph Batraki, 76, of Clifton, passed away on October 12, 2015. Born in Demascus, Syria, he came to the US in 1996 and settled in Clifton. A parishioner of Sacred Heart Armenian Catholic Church, Little Falls, Joseph was a Jeweler for Gabriel Jewelers in Montvale for many years, retiring several years ago. Beloved husband for 50 years of Nour (Batraki). Devoted father of Hala Haddad of Little Falls, Rima Alasmar of Syria, Maya Farah of Pennsylvania, John of Secaucus and Elias of Clifton. Dear brother of Fouad Batraki of Washington Twsp., Souad Batraki of Woodland Park, Nihad Batraki of Wayne and the late Widad Batraki. Loving grandfather of 7. Funeral Thursday 8:45 AM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton, and 10 AM at Sacred Heart Armenian Catholic Church, Little Falls. Interment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa.
