Jose E. Marti, 80, of Passaic passed away on January 9, 2021. Born in Rincon, Puerto Rico, he came to the mainland in1956 and lived in Bronx, NY, before settling in Passaic. A Proud US Army Veteran during the Vietnam War, Jose worked as a maintenance engineer for Valley Hospital, Ridgewood, for 26 years before retiring in 2006.

Beloved husband of Juana Marti. Devoted father of Maybeth Marti of Denville, Leslie Marti of Woodbridge, Lorraine Ocasio and her husband Jose of Pompton Lakes and Joseph Marti and his wife Joannie of Belleville. Loving grandfather of 8. Dear brother of Julio Marti of Isabella, PR, and Agustine Marti of FL. Cherished uncle of many nieces and nephews.

Visiting Thursday 2 – 4 & 7 – 9 PM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton, with a prayer service starting at 8:30 PM. Cremation Private.
