Jose Manese's Obituary
Jose Manese, 77, of Lake Hiawatha, passed away on April 9, 2019. Born in Tarlac, Philippines, he came to the US in 1977 and lived in Passaic before moving to Lake Hiawatha in 2017. A parishioner of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel RC Church, Passaic, Jose was a Supervisor for Coca-Cola Co., Paterson, where he worked for 20 years.
Beloved husband of Lilia (Llana). Devoted father of Michael "Miles" Manese and his wife Melanie Roberts of Harrison, Sarah Dupree and her husband Carl, Jr., of Clifton, Marissa Manese-Payumo and her husband Billy of Wayne, and Fatima Avigliano and her husband James of Montclair. Loving grandfather of James, Paul and Andrew Dupree, Olivia, Ryan and Sophia Payumo, Luke and Veronica Avigliano. Dear brother of Ofelia Vergara of California, Luz Lontok and Myrna Manese of the Philippines, and the late Alicia Mallari and Corazon Magat.
Funeral Friday 8:45 AM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton, and 10 AM at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel RC Church, Passaic. Interment, East Ridgelawn Cemetery, Clifton. Visiting Thursday 4-8 PM at the funeral home.
