Obituary

Jos Ramn Len, of Passaic, beloved husband, father and grandfather, died on May 11, 2010. He was ninety years old. Jos was born in Esperanza, Santa Clara, Cuba in 1920, the youngest of 10 brothers and sisters.

Jos came to the United States from Cuba and settled in Passaic in 1953 to make a new life for himself, his wife Lina and young son Jorge, who Jos brought to the United States in 1955. He sacrificed tremendously to raise his family, often working multiple jobs to give his children opportunities that he did not have. In addition to his big heart, he was a great storyteller, lover of nature and had an incredible green thumb. His black beans are legendary. He will be forever in our hearts.

Jos is survived by his wife Lina, his daughter Caridad Alicia Petrochko and her husband, Mark, his daughter Evelyn Janet Infurna and her husband Edward, and his son Jos Alberto and his wife Marisol. He was a loving grandfather to his grandson Cole Petrochko, and four granddaughters, Chloe and Cara Leon and Camille and Isabel Infurna and an adored uncle to numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his eldest son, Jorge Lazaro in 1982.
