Jonathan E. Perez, 37, passed away on January 31, 2016. Born in Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico, Jonathan moved to New Jersey in 1990 and lived in Belleville and Kearny before recently moving to Newark. Jonathan was a parishioner of the First Hispanic Reformed Church, Newark, and of Liquid Church, Nutley, and worked as a Teacher's Assistant at the Deron School in Montclair.

Beloved husband of Jasmine (Fuentes) Perez. Devoted son of Rolnand and Nadia (Czernenko) Perez. Cherished brother of Ruth Trujillo and her husband Jesus of Newark and Rachel Darley and her husband Jason of Clifton. Adored uncle of Nadia Sofia Trujillo.

Funeral Thursday 10:30 AM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton. Interment to follow at East Ridgelawn Cemetery, Clifton. Visiting Wednesday 2-4 & 6-9 PM at the funeral home.
