John B. Young, Jr., 83, of Manahawkin passed away on May 9, 2013. Born in Baltimore, MD, John lived in Passaic for most of his life before moving to Manahawkin 10 years ago. John worked as a Bus Driver for DeCamp Bus Lines, Montclair, for 20 years, retiring in 1993. An Army Veteran of the Korean War, John was a member of the Passaic VFW Post #504. John was a parishioner of St. Nicholas RC Church, Passaic, and was a member of the Knights of Columbus Council #262, Passaic. Beloved husband of the late Elizabeth "Betty" Young, who passed away in 2008. Devoted father of John M. Young and his wife Linda of West Milford and Alan Young and his wife Adaline of Cypress, TX. Cherished grandfather of Robert, Michelle and Shannon and 4 great grandchildren. Dear brother of Dennis Young of MD and the late Ann Neyer.
