John P. Talamini, 88, of Clifton on March 24, 2010. Born in Philadelphia, PA, John has been a resident of Clifton since 1947.

An Army Veteran of WW II, John was a parishioner of Sacred Heart RC Church, Clifton. As a young man he worked for Tastykake in Philadelphia, and later he was a Baker for Federal Sweets for 25 years, before retiring in 1986. After retiring, John worked for the Maintenance Department of Willowbrook Wall in Wayne for several years. John was predeceased by 3 brothers and 3 sisters.

Beloved husband for 62 years of Alice (Sala). Devoted father of Ronald and his wife Dorothy of Clifton. Loving grandfather of Holly Lynn and Ronald.

Funeral Saturday 10 AM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton. Entombment, Calvary Cemetery, Paterson. Visiting Friday 2-4 and 7-9 PM.
