Obituary

John Martin Suscreba, 70, of Clifton, passed away on January 20, 2022. Born in Passaic, he was a lifelong resident of Clifton and was a parishioner of St. Peter's Episcopal Church, Clifton.
Marty was the owner of HyGrade Meat Market on Clifton Ave., Clifton, for 23 years, and later worked as a Butcher for Stop & Shop in Tenafly and Lyndhurst for 25 years. A member of the United Food and Commercial Workers Union (UFCW) Local 464A, Little Falls, Marty served as Shop Steward for many years.
Beloved husband for 46 years of Maryellen (Galofaro). Devoted father of Marnie Suscreba of Clifton. Dear brother of Carol Greiner of Wayne, and the late Susan Suscreba who passed away in November.
Visiting Sunday 12 PM to 2 PM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton. Funeral Service Sunday 2 PM at the funeral home. Cremation will be private.
In lieu of flowers, donations made to the Alzheimer's Association, www.alz.org, in memory of Marty, would be greatly appreciated.
