John "Jan" Rodzen, 82, of Clifton, passed away on May 30, 2025. Born in Rozalin, Poland, he traveled to the US in 1984 and lived in Passaic before settling in Clifton. A long-time parishioner of St. John Kanty RC Church, John worked as a self-employed general contractor and mason for many years before retiring. He was a hardworking man who dedicated his life to providing a steady, dependable life for his family. Born in Poland, he carried with him the strength, resilience, and deep-rooted values of his homeland throughout his life. He cherished his heritage and passed on its traditions, language, and stories to the next generation. He will be laid to rest in his beloved homeland of Poland.

Beloved husband of Zenona (Bujak) Rodzeń. Devoted father of Mariusz Rodzeń and his wife Arianis, Dorota Rodzeń and her husband Arkadiusz, Jacek Rodzeń and his wife Agata, and the late Paweł Rodzeń. Loving grandfather of William, Gabriel, Olivia, Matthew, Maximilian, Jakub, and Rafał. Cherished great-grandfather of Patrysia, Antek, and Julian. Dear brother of Stanisława and Bronisława.

Visiting Thursday, June 5, 4 – 8 PM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton. Funeral Friday, June 6, 8:45 AM at the funeral home and 10 AM at St. John Kanty RC Church, Clifton. Interment will be in Poland.
