John W. Oliveira, Jr., 84, of Clifton, passed away on December 29, 2012. Born in Providence, RI, he lived in Passaic before moving to Clifton many years ago. A Navy Veteran during Peacetime, John was a mechanic and welder for GlaxoSmithKline in Clifton for many years, retiring several years ago, and was a parishioner of St. Andrew the Apostle RC Church, Clifton. Beloved husband for 59 years of Nellie (Baron). Devoted father of Joyce Carswell and her husband Thomas of Clifton. Loving uncle of nephews John and Joseph Baron, and great nephews Jonathan Jay and Joseph. Memorial Mass, Wednesday 10 AM at St. Andrew the Apostle RC Church, 400 Mt. Prospect Ave., Clifton.
