John Van Ness, 74, of Clifton, passed away on October 26, 2021. Born in Passaic, he was a resident of Clifton for 61 years. Before retiring in 2009, John was a Foreman at King Solomon Memorial Park. He was also a lifetime member of the United Steel Workers Union.

Beloved husband for 41 years of Maria Van Ness of Clifton. Devoted father of Theresa Van Ness of Brooklyn, NY and Christina Van Ness of Clifton. Dear brother of Carol Moers and brother-in-law of the late Donald Moers of Clifton. Loving brother-in-law of Walter Husarenko of Ringwood. Beloved son of the late John and Bernice Van Ness and cherished son-in-law of the late Carmen Husarenko. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday December 11, 2021, 1-3 PM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton. Cremation was private.
