Obituary

John, "Streaker" Misiora, 83, of Clifton passed away on April 13, 2011. Born in Poland, he came to the US in 1949 and was a long time resident of Clifton.

A parishioner of St. Paul's RC Church, Clifton, Streaker worked for Magor Car in Clifton for many years and later Continental Can in Passaic for 36 years, retiring in 1988. King of the "One Liners", Streaker, a lover of music, ended most of his conversations with "Pip Pip Cheerio". His zest for life was noticed by everyone who knew him. His hobbies included photography, gardening and sharing good times with his family.

An Army Veteran of the Korean War, Streaker was a member of the Athenia Veteran Post and the Quentin-Roosevelt American Legion Post # 8, both in Clifton.

Beloved husband of the late Paulette (Metner) who died in 2008. Devoted father of John, Jr. of PA, Jeffrey and his wife Susan of Montville, Michele Davoulas and her husband Nick of Edmeston, NY. Loving grandfather of Daniel, Annamarie, Nicky, Melissa, Brittany and Brooke.

Funeral Tuesday 8:45 AM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton, and 10 AM at St. Paul's RC Church, Clifton. Interment, East Ridgelawn Cemetery, Clifton. Visiting Monday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. www.shookfh.com
