John Ralph Lacquaniti, 95, of Passaic passed away on January 12, 2017. Born in Clifton, John lived all of his life in Clifton and Passaic. An Army veteran of WWII, John was a member of the Athenia Veterans Post, Clifton.
He was an Accountant with The Red Cross in Morristown for 10 years before retiring and also served on the Passaic County Planning Board and was a member of UNICO of Passaic. John was a parishioner of St. Clare RC Church, Clifton, where he was a member of their Holy Name Society and served as an Usher.

Beloved husband for 66 years of Marie (Capuano). Devoted father of Frances King of West Caldwell and her late husband Andrew, and Frank Lacquaniti and his wife Mary Lou of Doylestown, PA. Cherished grandfather of Frank Lacquaniti and his wife Stephanie, Michele Terra and her husband Ben, Megan King and her partner Jeffrey Van Duine, and Kellianne King-Fanuele and her husband Daniel. Loving great-grandfather of Madison and Dominic Lacquaniti and Sophia and Emelia Terra. Dear brother of Rose DeSouza of Passaic.
Funeral Tuesday 8:45AM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton, and 10AM at St. Clare RC Church, Clifton. Entombment, Calvary Cemetery, Paterson. Visiting Monday 4-8PM at the funeral home.
