John Kivlehan, 75, of Clifton, passed away on July 6, 2018. Born and raised in the Bronx, John lived in Maywood before moving to Clifton 27 years ago. A parishioner of St. John Kanty RC Church, Clifton, John was a commercial HVAC Specialist for Pennetta & Sons in Jersey City.

Devoted husband of Cherry (Boenitz) for 25 years. Beloved father of Andrea Kivlehan of Suffern, NY, Christina Class of Ringwood, Veronica Lohrer and her husband John of Boiceville, NY, Virginia Smith and her husband Brian of Kingsport, TN, and Richard Bross and his companion Donna of Oxford, NJ. Cherished grandfather of Tyler Bross, Morgan Class, Steven Class, Brianna Smith and Cassidy Lohrer. Former husband of Jean Kivlehan for 20 years.

Funeral Monday 9:00 AM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton, and 10:00 AM at St. John Kanty RC Church, Clifton. Interment, Laurel Grove Cemetery, Totowa. Visiting Sunday 2-6 PM at the funeral home.
