John A. Jakubcak, 91, of Clifton, passed away on October 21, 2015. Born in Clifton, he was a lifelong resident. A parishioner of Ss. Cyril & Methodius RC Church, Clifton, John was a member of the Holy Name Society. An Army Veteran of WW II, John worked for the Clifton DPW for 28 years, retiring in 1986, and was a member of American Legion Post #347, Clifton Beloved husband of the late Helen (Kubasek) who passed away in 1985. Devoted father of Elaine Parodi and her husband Chuck of Maywood, and the late John J. who passed away in 2010. Loving grandfather of Matthew Parodi and his wife Beth, and Kristen King and her husband William. Cherished great grandfather of Ella and Aiden Parodi. Dear brother of Steven of Clifton, and the late Irene English and Margaret Pikala. Funeral Monday 8:45 AM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton, and 10 AM at Ss. Cyril & Methodius RC Church, Clifton. Interment, St. Mary's Cemetery, Saddle Brook. Visiting Sunday 4-7 PM at the funeral home.
