John J. Griglak, 59, of Woodland Park, passed away on October 5, 2014. Born in Passaic, he lived in Clifton before moving to Woodland Park. A parishioner of St. Andrew the Apostle RC Church, Clifton, John was a self employed mechanic working at Sandy's Service in Garfield for many years. Devoted husband for 29 years of Laura (Kolek). Beloved father of Melissa Burke and her husband Brendan of Hawthorne, and Amanda and Danielle Griglak, both of Woodland Park. Loving son the late Catherine (Stefanacci) and John Griglak. Dear brother of Patricia Griglak-Radak of Hawthorne and Kate Holden and her husband Dan Tweddle of Texas. Cherished son in law of Nancy Kolek of Clifton. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Funeral Thursday 9 AM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton, and 10 AM at St. Andrew the Apostle RC Church, Clifton. Interment, St. Mary's Cemetery, Saddle Brook. Visiting Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the funeral home.
