John S. Frankowski, 74, of Wantage, passed away on October 25, 2021. Born in Frydman, Poland, he came to the US in 1963 and lived in Clifton before moving to Wantage 33 years ago.

A parishioner of St. Monica's RC Church, Sussex, for over 30 years, John was a former parishioner of St. John Kanty RC Church, Clifton. A painter by trade, John was the owner of J & F Painting for many years, and later was a heavy equipment operator for the Sussex County Road Department.

Beloved husband of Irene (Brak). Devoted father of John Frankowski and his wife Terry of Seaside Heights, Allen Frankowski of Clifton, Robert Benke and his wife Paula of Flemington, the late Gregory Frankowski who passed away in 2014, and Sonia Frankowski who passed away in 2017. Cherished grandfather of Nicolette, Brittany, Anika, Thomas and Claudia.

Loving son of Veronica (Prelich) Frankowski of Clifton, and the late Andrzej Frankowski who passed away in 1972. Dear brother of Joseph Frankowski of Clifton, Josephine Rakowski and her husband Zygmunt of Clifton, Anna Dalba and her husband Vincent of Clifton, Zofia Puzik and her husband Norbert of Passaic, and the late Maria Machocka, Helen Pisarczyk and Andrew Frankowski.

Funeral Friday 8:45 AM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton, and 10 AM at St. John Kanty RC Church, Clifton. Interment, St. Mary's Cemetery, Saddle Brook. Visiting Thursday 4-8 PM at the funeral home.
