John DeSouza, 94, of Passaic passed away on November 14, 2013. Born in Fall River, MA, John spent his childhood in Portugal and lived in Newark before moving to Passaic 66 years ago. He was a Dye Setter for Continental Can Co., Paterson, for 30 years, retiring in 1981. A parishioner of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel RC Church, Passaic, John was an Army Veteran of WWII and a member of the Athenia Veterans Post, Clifton. Beloved husband for 66 years of Rose (Lacquaniti). Dear brother-in-law of John Lacquaniti and his wife Marie. Loving uncle of Frances King and Frank Lacquaniti. Cherished great-uncle of Frank Lacquaniti, Jr., Megan King, Michele Terra and Kellianne King. Funeral Service Wednesday 10:30 AM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton. Interment, St. Nicholas Cemetery, Lodi. Visiting Tuesday 3-7 PM at the funeral home.
