John "Jack" P. Barbour, Jr., 70, of Rainbow Springs, FL, passed away on June 6, 2013. Born on May 18, 1943 in Paterson to the late John P, Sr. and Mildred (McCoy) Barbour, he lived in Clifton before moving to Rainbow Springs in 2002. A graduate of Don Bosco Tech in Paterson, Jack was a member of the Basketball Team and later served his country in the US Army during the Vietnam War. Jack retired from Nabisco in Fair Lawn after 38 years. A member of both the Rainbow Springs Golf and Country Club and the Citrus County Horseshoe Club, he enjoyed playing golf and horseshoes, and spending time with his wife and their friends. As a final gift, Jack was an Organ Donor. Beloved husband of Carol (Reid). Devoted brother of Tim and his wife Phyllis of Wayne, Christopher of Allamuchy, and Patricia Klechkowski and her husband Ray of The Villages, FL. Loving uncle of 6 nieces and nephews. Funeral Thursday 9 AM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton, and 10 AM at St. Philip the Apostle RC Church, Clifton. Entombment, East Ridgelawn Cemetery, Clifton. Visiting Wednesday 7-9 PM at the funeral home.
