Johanna (Hauck) Fahmie, 96, of Nutley passed away on August 6, 2013. Born in Garfield, she lived most of her life in Nutley. Johanna was a homemaker who loved spending time with her six children and extended family. Beloved wife of the late W. Michael Fahmie, who passed away in 1984. Devoted mother of Thomas Fahmie and his wife Mimma of Red Bank, Patricia Werdann and her late husband Gerald of Brick, Judith Slomback and her husband Charles of West Milford, Wayne Fahmie and his wife Mary of Nutley, Joan Fahmie-Sieck and her husband Gordon of Montville, and the late Michael Fahmie. Cherished grandmother of 20 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren. Funeral Friday 10:15 AM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton, and 11:15 AM at St. Ann Melkite Catholic Church, Woodland Park. Interment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa. Visiting Thursday 2-4 & 7-9 PM at the Funeral Home.
