JoAnne Pierson, 68, of Elmwood Park, passed away on December 8, 2011. Born in Passaic, she lived in Garfield before moving to Elmwood Park 30 years ago. A member of the Senior Citizens of Elmwood Park, JoAnne was a Quality Control Inspector for Inverness in Elmwood Park for 10 years and was a former parishioner of St. Clare's RC Church, Clifton. Beloved mother of Edith Pierson of Wantage. Loving sister of Wayne Pierson of Passaic and the late Elaine Hendrie. Funeral Service Saturday Evening 8:30 PM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton. Cremation will be private. Visiting Saturday 2-4 and 7-9 PM.
