Joanna (Rogowski) Staniewski-Ruman, 56, of Wallington, passed away on July 24, 2019 at home with her family by her side after a fearless two year battle with cancer. Born in Poland, Joanna came to the US in 1993 and settled in Wallington. Joanna was hardworking, loyal, and loving, and always put other's needs before her own. She served as a role model for many and was adored by all who have had the blessing of crossing her path. An entrepreneur, Joanna owned and operated Joanna's Cleaning Service, where she came across many different types of people and touched many hearts with her loving and giving nature.

She was an extraordinary wife, mother, daughter, and grandmother who showed that she was willing to fight with every ounce of her being until her last breath. She was loved so unconditionally by all people, especially those family members she leaves behind. Beloved wife of Jacenty Ruman. Loving daughter of Marta Mate of Wallington. Devoted mother of Patrycja Goluch and Caroline Staniewski, both of Wallington. Cherished grandmother of Madison. Dear sister of Gabriela Borkowska of Poland. Funeral Service Friday 7:30 PM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton. Cremation will be private. Visitation Friday 4:00-8:00 PM at the funeral home.
