Joanna (Ruszala) Niziolek, 91, of Arlington Heights, IL, formerly of Clifton, passed away on September 11, 2013. Born in Jasliska, Poland, Joanna came to the US in 1965 and first settled in Elizabeth and Clifton before moving to Arlington Heights, IL, 7 years ago. Joanna was a Seamstress for Simmons Bedding Co., Elizabeth, for many years before retiring several years ago. Beloved wife of the late Antoni Niziolek, who passed away in 1997. Devoted mother of Grace Rygiel and her husband Edward of Somerville, Stanley and his wife Anna of North Brunswick, John and his wife Mary of Clifton, Sophie Eccleston and her husband Willy of Effort, PA, Roman and his wife Janina of Arlington Heights, IL, and Walter and his wife Teresa of Elizabeth. Cherished grandmother of 19 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren. Funeral Saturday 8:30 AM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton and 9:30 AM at St. John Kanty RC Church, Clifton. Interment, St. Michael's Cemetery, South Hackensack. Visiting Friday 7-9 PM at the Funeral Home.
