JoAnn (Hooey) Della Pesca, 70 of Colonia, passed away on March 13, 2022. Born in Paterson she lived most of her life in Clifton before moving to Colonia.

JoAnn was a Parole Officer for the New Jersey Department of Corrections in Paterson for 10 years. An avid Bingo player, JoAnn enjoyed playing cards with the Lena Card Group.

Beloved wife of the late Richard C. Della Pesca, who passed away in 2017. Devoted mother of David, Tracey, and Richard Della Pesca. Loving grandmother of Victoria, Amanda, Rachel, Lorenzo, Paige, Payton and Liam. Cherished great grandmother of Analisa and Aaliyah. Dear sister of Florence Rowan, Diana Hotchkiss, Roxanne Vincelli and Mark Buckley.

Visiting Thursday 4-8 PM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton, a Prayer Service will begin at 5:30 PM. Cremation will be private.
