Joann Herrmann's Obituary
Joann (Carney) Herrmann of Hawthorne passed away on November 30, 2018. Born and raised in Paterson, Joann lived in Prospect Park before moving to Hawthorne over 10 years ago. She was a Crossing Guard for the Hawthorne Board of Education for many years, retiring in 2012.
Beloved wife for 47 years of James. Devoted mother of James, Scott and his wife Tanya, Brian, and William and his wife Vanessa. Cherished grandmother of Brian, Jr., Samantha and Katelyn.
Visitation Tuesday 4-8PM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Avenue, Clifton. Cremation will be private.
In lieu of flowers, donations made in Joann's memory to the American Cancer Society, www.cancer.org, would be greatly appreciated.
