Joan (Westhoven) Heerschap, 84, of Griffin, GA, passed away on June 15, 2017. Born in Clifton, she lived in Clifton and Lewes, DE
,
before moving to Griffin, GA, in 2013. Joan loved to read, cook, and work in the garden, and she enjoyed the outdoors and listening to music. She greatly enjoyed traveling to France and also loved spending time with her family and friends.
Beloved wife of the late Robert Harold, who passed away in 2004. Devoted mother of Leslie Crews and her husband Larry, and the late Carlin. Cherished grandmother of Sarah Axsen and her husband Jonathan, Matthew Youmans and his wife Jennifer, and Daniel Youmans. Loving great-grandmother of Summer Youmans.
A Memorial Gathering will be held on Saturday, June 24, 2017 from 10AM-12PM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton. A Prayer Service will take place at 11AM during the Memorial Gathering.
