Jerry Ference, 85, of Clifton, passed away on March 27, 2025. Born in Passaic, he was a lifelong resident of Clifton.

A Firefighter for the Clifton Fire Department for 25 years, retiring in 1995, Jerry was a master gardener and enjoyed hunting and fishing. Jerry proudly served his country in the US Marines and was a member of the Albion VFW Post #7165, Clifton

Beloved husband for 61 years of the late Carol Ann (Eickhoff) Ference who passed away in 2023. Devoted father of Doreen Richards and her husband Robert, Jerry Ference, and Jacqueline Hanrahan and her husband Joseph. Loving grandfather of Samantha, Kaylin, Michael, Maggie, Marissa, Jayme, Kelly, Jaclyn. Cherished great grandfather of Annabell, Sebastian, Cameron, Camilo and Austin. Dear brother of Joyce, John and his wife Monica, Judy and her husband Robert, Jeffrey and his wife Christine, Michael, the late Janice, and her husband John.

Visiting Monday, March 31, 2025, 2-7 PM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton. Cremation will be private.
