Jennifer A. Hastick, 53, of Vernon Township passed away on April 13, 2026. Born in Passaic, she was raised in Clifton and lived there for many years before moving to Vernon in 2002. Jennifer was a customer service representative for Glenn Matano Insurance Co., in Wayne for 13 years. Jennifer was a good-hearted soul who was also very strong-willed and loved her children more than life itself. She also loved a good sale and to go clearance shopping with her family.

Beloved wife of 16 years of Fred Hastick. Devoted mother of Andrew and Sophie Hastick. Dear sister of Edward Laskowski and his fiancée Janine Ragusa, and Gregory Laskowski and his wife Maria. Loving sister-in-law of James Carroll and his wife Dawn, Linda Tomei and her husband George, Daniel Carroll, Mary-Ellen Johnstone and her husband Carl, and Peter Hastick. Jennifer will be dearly missed by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, a great-nephew, cousins, friends, and her beloved canine companion, Tootsy. Jennifer was predeceased by her parents, Edward and Barbara (Jacewicz) Laskowski.

Visiting Thursday, April 16, 2026 from 4-8PM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Avenue, Clifton. Funeral Friday, April 17, 2026, 8:45AM at the funeral home and 10AM at St. Andrew the Apostle. Interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington.
