Jennie D. Moskal's Obituary
Jennie D. Moskal, 98, of East Rutherford, passed away on May 1, 2018. Born in Wallington, she lived in Passaic before moving to East Rutherford many years ago.
An active parishioner of Ss. Peter and Paul's Polish National Catholic Church, Passaic, Jennie was a long time member of the Adoration Society, where she served as President for many many years.
Before retiring in 1978, Jennie was a Quality Control Inspector for Becton-Dickinson in E. Rutherford, and was a member of the B&D Retiree Association, the Ladies Craft Club, and was a "Red Hatter".
A remarkable mother and woman, Jennie enjoyed her grandchildren and great grandchildren, sewing, cooking, baking, oil painting and spending time at her condo in Florida. When at her condo, Jennie devoted her time to St. Paul's PNC Church, Belleview, FL, and helped at the church picnic and many other church activities.
Beloved wife of the late Louis who passed away in 1983. Devoted mother of Louis and his wife Karen of Estero, FL, Carol Jockel and her husband Russell of Putnam Station, NY, and Joseph and his wife Angela of Wayne. Loving grandmother of Stephen, Erin, Erik and Katie Moskal, Jeffrey and Christopher Jockel, and the late Andrea Moskal. Cherished great grandmother of Hudson and Nora Jockel, and the late Avery Coco Jockel. Loving companion of Janina Koziol.
Funeral Saturday 8:45 AM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton, and 10 AM at Ss. Peter and Paul's PNC Church, Passaic. Interment, East Ridgelawn Cemetery, Clifton. Visiting Friday 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, donations made to either the American Heart Association, PO Box 417005, Boston, MA 02241-7005, www.heart.org , or the Macular Degeneration Research, 22512 Gateway Center Dr., Clarksburg, MD 20871, www.BrightFocus.org , in memory of Jennie, would be greatly appreciated.
