Jennie (Urgolo) Marto, 96, of Clifton passed away on June 2, 2018. Born in Italy, Jennie came to the US in 1923 and first settled in Jersey City before moving to Clifton 63 years ago.

A parishioner of St. Philip the Apostle, Clifton, Jennie was a member of their Rosary Society and the Prime Timers group. She was also active with the Disabled American Veterans, the Clifton Senior Center, and the VFW Post 7165 of Clifton.

Devoted wife of Rosario who passed away in 1980. Beloved mother of John and his wife Susan of Port Charlotte, FL, Carmela Hoffman and her husband Walter of Randolph, Catherine Marto and her fiancé Jack Marshall, and the late Dolores Frasco. Loving mother-in-law of Roy Frasco and his girlfriend Gail Sargese. Cherished grandmother of Jennifer, Roy, Michael, Vanessa and her husband Anthony, Bethany and her fiance Chris, Audra and her husband Andre, William and his wife Amie, Lisa and her husband Sal and Jason and his wife Kristie. Adored great-grandmother of Giovanna, Anjolie, Salvatore, Juliana, Mia, Giovanna, Desmond, Cooper, Isabella, Kyle, Avery, Brooks, Antonia, Giana, Joseph and Madeline. Dear sister of George Urgolo and his wife Therese of Totowa. Loving sister-in-law of Theresa Urgolo, Rose Ann Urgolo, and John Marto. Cherished aunt of many nieces and nephews.

Jennie's family would like to offer deep appreciation to Shorena Khurtsidze and Winsome Actable, her loving health aides. Also, special thanks to her wonderful doctor, M. Joseph Russo & staff, and the staff of Valley Pharmacy.

Funeral Wednesday 9:45AM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton, and 11AM at St. Philip the Apostle RC Church, Clifton. Interment, Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Montclair. Visiting Tuesday 2-4 & 7-9PM at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, donations made in Jennie's name to the Lifeline Christian Mission, 921 Eastward Drive #104, Westerville, OH 43081, would be greatly appreciated.
