Jenny "Jean" (Karas) Manowiecki, 88, of Clifton passed away on September 28, 2011. Born in Passaic, she lived there before moving to Clifton in 1954. A parishioner of Transfiguration of Our Lord Polish National Catholic Church, Wallington, Jean was a member of the Young Woman's Club and sang in the Choir for many years. Before retiring 21 years ago, Jean was a sample maker for Sample Masters in Garfield for 20 years. Beloved wife of the late Stanley A. who passed away in 1993. Devoted mother of Alan of Clifton, Andrea Coroneos and her late husband John of Hopatcong, Diane Polito and her husband Michael of Lyndhurst. Loving grandmother of Alexandra, Lisa, Jonathan, Dina, Nicholas and Michael. Funeral Saturday 8:30 AM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton, and 9:30 AM at Transfiguration of Our Lord PNCC, Wallington. Interment, East Ridgelawn Cemetery, Clifton.
