Jean (Mazzola) Manella, 92, of Clifton, passed away on March 9, 2018. Born and raised in Passaic, Jean moved to Clifton in 1965 where she settled to raise her family.

A banker with New Jersey Bank for over 40 years, Jean was an excellent cook and an avid reader, and was extremely generous and well-loved by all who knew her.

Beloved wife of Thomas Manella for 69 years. Devoted mother of Joan Manella of Paterson and Janice Costello and her husband Tim of Clifton. Loving grandmother of Ryan Costello and his wife Dana, and Tim Costello and his wife Samantha. Dear sister of the late Anthony Mazzola. Funeral Monday 8:45 AM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton, and 10 AM at Sacred Heart RC Church, Clifton. Interment, Calvary Cemetery, Paterson. Visitation Sunday 2-6 PM.
