Jay Thomas Glerum, 62, of Montclair, on January 18, 2010. Born in Passaic, he lived most of his life in Clifton before moving to Glen Ridge and Montclair. A Commercial Real Estate Broker, he worked for Douglas Elliman, Cushman & Wakefield, Palistini Properties and Studley Insurance Co. A graduate of Clifton High School, he was the First Trombone and Lead Member for the Mustang Marching Band during the time the band performed in Holland. Tom attended Northwestern University in Chicago, and the Manhattan School of Music in NYC. Beloved father of Rachel Jannarone and her husband Richard of Millstone, Faith Martens and her husband Jason of E. Brunswick, and Tyler of Glen Ridge. Dear brother of Joel of Milford, NH, Alison Stanford of Maui, HI, and the late Brian who died in 1999. Funeral Saturday 9:30 AM at the Allwood Community Church, 100 Chelsea Rd., Clifton. Interment, East Ridgelawn Cemetery, Clifton. Visiting Friday 6-9 PM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton.
