Janina Pawlik, 92, of Wayne, passed away on December 31, 2025. Born in Lwow, Poland, she lived in Wroclaw, Poland, and came to the US in 1964 settling in Garfield before moving to Wayne in 2024.

A parishioner of St. Stanislaus Kostka RC Church, Garfield, Janina, a homemaker, had worked for several years as an assembler for Electro Scan in Garfield. During her younger years in Poland, Janina was an Administrative Assistant at City Hall in Wroclaw. Janina enjoyed sewing, gardening, cooking, baking and reading.

Beloved wife of the late Zygmunt Pawlik. Devoted mother of Christina Pawlik. Loving grandmother of Jessica Carroll. Cherished great grandmother of Scott and Thea Carroll. Dear sister of Helena Glinska and the late Boleslaw Kryl.

Visiting Wednesday, January 7, 2026, 9-10 AM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton. Funeral Wednesday, 10:30 AM at St. Stanislaus Kostka RC Church, Garfield. Interment, St. Mary's Cemetery, Saddle Brook.
