Janina (Dabal) Bajer, 78, of Basking Ridge, passed away on January 24, 2016. Born in Stany, Poland, she came to the US in 1970 and lived in Passaic and Clark before moving to Basking Ridge 3 years ago.
A parishioner of St. Joseph's RC Church, Passaic, Jania worked for Josephine Bajer, PC in Passaic for 20 years, retiring in 2013.
Beloved wife of the late Jozef Bajer who passed away in 2005. Devoted mother of Dr. Josephine Bajer, DMD, and her husband James Halcrow of Basking Ridge, Donna Kulaga and her husband Christopher of Hopewell Junction, NY, and Renee Sgourdas and her husband George of Pine Bush, NY. Loving grandmother of Mark and his wife Krista, Suzanne, Peter, Christopher, Caroline, and the late Christopher, Jr. Cherished great grandmother of Ryan, Brayden and Collin. Dear sister of Maria Pluta of Wayne, and Julia Nieradka of Clifton. Loving aunt of many nieces and nephews.
Funeral Thursday 8:45 AM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton, and 10 AM at St. Joseph's RC Church, Passaic. Interment, St. Denis Cemetery, Hopewell Junction, NY. Visiting Wednesday 4-8 PM at the funeral home.
