Janet Wilderman-Gelman, 76 of Richmond Hill, Queens, NY, passed away on February 16, 2021. Born in Jersey City, she lived in Jersey City, Lyndhurst and Rutherford, before moving to Richmond Hill several years ago.

Janet was a beautician her entire adult life, right up until a month ago. She began her career in the early sixties in Jersey City. She then had a salon in Rutherford for several years. After closing her shop, she did her beautician work independently. In her lifetime, Janet always helped anybody in need. She made everyone she met glad to know her. Janet was a very special person, she was talented, creative, and a gourmet cook, but she was also soft spoken and always modest.

As loving members of our family and our best friends, Janet and her husband Bob will always have a place in our hearts and will be sorely missed by their family, friends and all who knew them.
