Jane (Zimnoch) Zak, "Gigi", 97, of Passaic, passed away on April 22, 2022. Born in Throop, PA, she came to Passaic in her senior year of high school, and was a graduate of Passaic High School. A parishioner of St. Joseph's RC Church, Passaic, Jane was a member of the St. Joseph Leisure Club. Before retiring in 2009, Jane was an Accounts Payable Clerk for SmithKline Beecham Products, Clifton, where she worked for 40 years.

Beloved wife for 61 years of the late Edward Zak who passed away in 2014. Devoted mother of Diane Messina and her husband Joseph of Langhorne, PA, Deborah Zak of Montclair, and Edward Zak and his wife Noreen of Livingston. Loving grandmother of Douglas Messina and his wife Marielle, James Messina, and Kerry and Kevin Zak. Cherished great grandmother of Dylan Edward Messina, and Adriana Alicia Messina. Dear sister of Joseph Zimnoch of Suffern, NY, and Pat Trawinski of Passaic.

Visiting Tuesday 4-8 PM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton. Funeral Wednesday 8:45 AM at the funeral home, and 10 AM at St. Joseph's RC Church, Passaic. Interment, St. Michael's Cemetery, South Hackensack.
