Jan Prelich, 69, of Clifton passed away on October 17, 2021. Born in Frydman, Poland, Jan came to the US in 2000 and settled in Clifton. He was a roofer for over 15 years for Pfister Roofing.

Beloved husband for 45 years of Maria (Tazyk). Devoted father of Piotr Prelich and his wife Iwona, Bronislaw Prelich and his wife Ewa, Jadwiga Lapczynski and her husband Mariusz, Kazimierz Prelich and his wife Justyna, Czeslaw Prelich and his wife Klaudia and the late Andrzej Prelich who passed away in 1988. Cherished grandfather of Patrycja Prelich, Aleksander Prelich, Patrick Prelich, Julia Prelich, Mikolaj Prelich, Jacob Lapczynski, Fabian Lapczynski, Max Lapczynski, Aiden Prelich and Ryan Prelich. Dear brother of Stanislaw Prelich, Anna Blachut, Feliks Prelich, Jozef Prelich and Henryk Prelich.

Visiting Tuesday, October 19, 2021, from 4-8PM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton. Funeral Wednesday, October 20, 2021, 9AM at the funeral home and 10AM at St. John Kanty RC Church, Clifton. Interment, St. Mary's Cemetery, Saddle Brook.
