Jan "John" Masny, 77, of Clifton passed away on December 1, 2018, surrounded by his loving family. Born in Podczerwone, Poland, John came to the US in 1964 and settled in Passaic before moving to Clifton in 1990.

John was the Owner of the Red & White Tavern in Passaic for the past 36 years. Coming from the Highlander Region of Poland, John never forgot his roots in Poland and was a constant supporter of many Polish organizations and causes. He will mainly be remembered for being a loving husband, wonderful father, doting grandfather, and caring cousin and uncle. He frequently and quietly helped countless people with their needs in life and we are certain that he will always be remembered as someone who could be counted on.
