Jan Krol, 63, of West Milford, passed away on December 29, 2021. Born and raised in Krempachy, Poland, he came to the US with his whole family in 2000 and lived in Garfield and Elmwood Park before moving to West Milford in 2005. A Catholic parishioner of the Diocesan Shrine of Saint John Paul II in Passaic (Holy Rosary RC Church), Jan was also a lector in church in Krempachy, Poland for 20 years. He was a Tile Contractor for many years and was the owner of Krol Renovations LLC.

Beloved husband for 41 years of his sweetheart Anna Krol (Galus). Devoted father of Andrzej Krol of West Milford, Sylwia Herdzik and her husband Pawel Herdzik of Hillsborough and loving grandfather of their daughter Amelia Herdzik. Devoted father of the late Marcin Krol who passed away in 2015, and his wife Stanislawa Krol. Loving son of the late Weronika and Walenty Krol. Dear brother of Joseph and Andrzej Lojek of Clifton.

Jan Krol loved his family more than anything. Jan was the most amazing husband, father and grandpa, and their love for him was beyond measure. He was incredibly smart and talented with an unmatched wisdom. Jan was full of life and loved the outdoors, tractors, cars, grilling, dancing, but most importantly spending time with his family. His personality touched the hearts of everyone he came in contact with. All who knew Jan will miss his warm and radiant smile that lit up the room, his laugh and his genuine heart. Jan will be dearly missed and will continue to live in our hearts forever. May God guide him to everlasting life so he can forever rest in peace.

Visiting Sunday 2-6 PM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave, Clifton. Funeral Monday January 3, 2022 at 8:45 AM at the funeral home and 10AM at the Diocesan Shrine of Saint John Paul II , Passaic. Interment, St. Mary's Cemetery, Saddle Brook.
